Student representatives may also participate in the Bologna sponsors group that exists in every EHEA country in order to collaborate with the institutions to disseminate information related to the European university convergence process.
These groups comprise people whose activity is directly related to higher education and that have sufficient knowledge and experience to advise and collaborate with the institutions in implementing the priorities of this process.
Students’ opinions are also taken into account by the BFUG (Bologna Follow Up Group). It meets regularly twice a year and prepares the Conference of Ministers that takes place every two years. It is responsible for approving work programs that include seminars and meetings about specific issues related to the European convergence process.
