A fundamental goal of the Bologna Process is to improve the employability of university graduates, helping them to adapt to the real demands of employment. Special care is taken to ensure that the definition, training and evaluation of the results of training have “professional relevance” or “relevance for society”.

Thanks to this approach, the labour market, on both the supply and the demand side, will have a range of degrees that will help to teach skills as well as providing theoretical knowledge. At the same time, it will also provide all university students with the option of specialising in a specific professional or academic field through official Masters programs.
